I went to my friend Michelle's (
Sufat Sheleg Canaan Dogs) for Christmas Eve. We had East Indian food and wine, then took a million pictures. It's always fun to be with a fellow 'dog person' who thinks like you do. "OK, enough chit chat, let's take pictures..." Both of us are on our own, and we never get pictures of US with our dogs. It's a great treat.
I love these pictures because they show me with Ben, and also because I can see my cheekbones! It really shows that I am losing so much weight. 105 pounds in four years (45 this year) and 40 to go to my goal weight. I don't recognize myself sometimes. It is hazardous of course, because I am buying clothes all the time and enjoying the new sizes - this is my biggest Christmas present to me - health and happiness.
Merry Christmas to everyone and best wishes for a wonderful 2012!

PS you can see Michelle's version of the evening
here, with more pictures of Baby Ben playing and some lovely pictures I took of her with her Canaan Dogs... it will take you off this blog so please come back to visit more!

| Ben and Ash played so hard that this picture turned out transparent! I think it's kind of cool though. He held his own and she was very gentle. He slept like a log and this morning he is getting treats from Santa! |
